I cannot say it better, stanlea.
Olivier, you're a killer.
And the nights are too short. But I'll take time for feedbacks.
Let's rush on it.

cool! did some tests in bidule....
it seems workin'!
a couple of suggestion...
1. make the "show usine" an automatable vst parameter so i can open usine with a button on my controller...
2. now i usin can only receive VSTTimeInfo...let it be a VSTTimeInfo sender too...so we can slave other vst (in modular hosts like bidule or maxmsp (waitn' for 5 version here)) to usine as a master tempo "distributor"
thanx

Same for me, for a couple of nights.
That's a shuttle for a whole new musical galaxy.
Have you ever heard about the "Archange Vessels" in Hyperion? That's it: it explodes you here and resuscitates you at the very end of the universe.
I was not really convieced, how stupid I am!
Ahah! You're a killer, Olivier!

Hi Olivier,
It seems to be VERY interesting !
I am not at home actually and cannot try this beta, but according to what I have read and seen, it seems that each plugin instance has a stereo in/out corresponding to each track of Usine ?
How are handled the multichannel streams ?
Is there several n x n versions of the plugin or can it be set dynamically ?

by senso
Actually Usine vst is only 2in x 2out.
It means that you can make real surround with a stereo host.
I plan to create the 8x8 version soon, after the beta testing.

Heu, I don't understand (but I suppose that it will be more evident when I will try myself !).

Goooood.

And also more than 8 perhaps ?
Or are the plugin channels linked only to the tracks channels ?

Each plug channel as is considered as an input/output of Usine so you can do what you want.
I'm working on the doc; I will include it in next beta.

I've made maintenance operation on FTP site yesterday night. Maybe a problem during this time on downloading files (I have no VST on the saved files anyway). I've already sent mails to Senso to try to understand what happened. I think you'll have news soon.

Where is the VST beta version?
Has it been taken down from the download page already?

Olivier, I made this archive of a series of 10 screenshots showing the error messages I get when I open the Usine VST beta 1 in FLStudio Release Candidate 3. The Windows Task Manager happened to be open, too, which might be informative.

Can you tell I've been trained in by my online coder friends in providing lots of info when betatesting? lol
I'm using WinXP Home on an Intel 3.0 Ghz Core Duo.
Oh, also the VST version works just fine in the old Live lite 6.0.10 version I have, but instantly crashed the most recent version of Reaper without supplying an error message.
Sorry I posted this before I recalled there's a bug report forum

Sorry,
I've canceled the Beta1 (to buggy)
Now I'm working on the beta2 which will be out on Monday...
More stable, and a lot of improvements.
