Trigger Audio Samples

Hey everyone,

I'm a drummer, and I'm trying to trigger audio samples live from my set. My setup is: triggers-->alesis dm4 drum module-->tascam us-1641-->laptop w/ Usine

I've been through the manual, and it seems to me that the only way to do this is by using the sampler module. Isn't there an easier way though? Maybe a module that I can just drag&drop the audio sample into and then midi learn the trigger? I'm a complete noob to Usine so all and any feedback is much appreciated.

hello and welcome
in global setup / interface , choose the dir you use for your sounds
then drag and drop your sound into a patch and choose " wave file player " in the context menu
now assign your midi learn to the play button...
that' s all...
