thanks heliouk for the link! really interesting
you're right it's in the same way ( even if this is a team with more "pro" than my little research ... )

the goal could be :

_this interface you see on the video

_zones could be change by a simple midi controller
could be controlled by finger like here or by a dancer or performer

_graphic result ( direct video or generation of abstract image via VVV )could be projected on a wall behind
this way we close the loop : video -->give sound--->sound give video

all this will be "freehardware" in the way i project to add schema to built / VVV patch on a future webpage ....

here an example of a video capture remixed ( not in realtime for the moment )

very slow mood....

http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/1731/

is your project still ongoing ?

i was also wondering, if you use it for live performance , you probably have to take care of the light surrounding the pad?.

hello barabou
i must admit that the new touchscreen function of Usine has a little " cut " my project with video
and as you ask , would be not easy to manage it in "live " mode...but thanks for your interest
and don't hesitate to share any experience ..always curious about any others one..;-)
