Now will definitively have to install V5 whatever that is so can use it as a VSTi.
Hope that HH 3 will be available as a VSTi.

Would be great if it can have multiple audio inputs and layers.

@ latenaille, glad u like it, yeah there are lots of scripts and heavy arrays manipulation, will try to code or improve some parts to save cpu maybe when hh3 will be there.

vas yeah tbh i still do nearly half of my patches on V5, cause i want use as vsti.. .and really hope HH3 could be back as vsti as well..

the plug was only midi here but with v5 vsti can hack it to route up to 16 audio in if i recall corectly

tho no it's monotouch in scripts but multitouch might work on some items, not tested, im not sure vst allows multitouch,..have to check

Hollyhock is multi-touch

My studio is not functioning right now to check anything out. Most likely will use the VSTi version
for the sake of convenience. Would be nice if there was a HH2 wrapper so we can use all the add-ons
as VSTfx and VSTi's.

Thanks for the encouragement to use V5 as a VSTi as I was already pondering to do so.
But can only use add-ons made for V5? Can use add-ons made for HH in V5? Can you list
your top 5 add-ons for V5. Please. Just want to see V5 potential and to see if it is truly
the way to go as I fear that HH will not be released as a VSTi.

Are the audio layers independent or can be intermingled. There might be some interesting
fx if intermingled. Just guessing here. But I can see that Automizer has more potential.
Looking forward to trying out Automizer.

Yes V5 vst and vsti versions are basically a wraped version of V5 that works in the host, syncs perfectly with the daw and can expose chosen (via right clic assign vst param) parameters, receive automations, audio and midi multi IO,
but so no it can only open V5 workspaces/patches/ addons ect

V5 was droped a while back so i don't think we even have access to addons for v5, don't have in mind sadly sorry, i just usually open the patch and starct from scratch on my side depending on what id like to achieve.
ie you can see LR coming IN and going OUT, you plug what you want in between as the process, or if add midi in/out, do midi processing like step sequencer or whatever.

if i recall correctly there are 16 or 32 paisrs of stero independant audio flows IOs, then inside the patch man can do either independant processes or gloabal if merging as wish.

Automizer is number one on this list.

It would be great if the HH2 modules/addons had a wrapper so a DAW can host them.
And as we stated earlier would be happy if HH3 was offered as a VST.

yes by V5 i mean Usine 5 pro, Usine 5 pro come as standalone or VSTi that can be loaded in the host (in fact hollyhock and HH2 were v6, and Hh3 will be usine 7 if we keep normal numbers^^)

ah cool my bad i must heve made something wrong i wasn't seeing my v5 plugins when uploading recently, good news
and yeah im +1000 for a vsti version back and we are several to feel the same, it was droped down when the crossplatform brought to mac..since that day i hate macs lol joke.
i think they know that anyway, lets' hope ;p

If HH3 is not also offered as a VST I hope that someone will make a VST wrapper for the individual HH2 and HH3 modules/addons. There are some HH2 modules/addons that I would love to be able to use as VST's in my DAW's.
The wrapper will then allow my DAW to host these HH2 modules/addons as VST's.
Ok, I am dreaming! I had made this request in this form some time ago.
