"Inspired by transformer, beatformer is an in depth granular drum sampler/sequencer. Although it was deisigned with drums in mind, any one shot samples can be used to create original rhythmic pieces from scratch."

http://www.sensomusic.com/wiki/doku.php ... beatformer

Check preset manager or conductor for a couple quick and dirty examples.

UPDATE3:

1. Lower CPU load
2. panning fader and mono switch for each sample
3. pre gain and post vol for each sample
4. sample start and end pos can now be adjusted from the waveform display as well as from the faders.
5. new envelope activation switch and option to trigger envelope with global sequencer or with repeat triggers.
6. brand new master section with master compressor and master vol/pan controlls
7. enhanced GUI design.
