and it's not always easy about automatic slices..( see the sergio slicer from senso..)
about mashing, i'm also working on an add-on for the launchpad inspired by a monome appz, will ask for beta tester ..

I made slicer triggered by the piano roll.each slicer is one note. Ils very powerfull. I have too à patch that record on the beat (using the beat follower) 8 samples and after slicing on there.
