Hello!

During my Usine Walk-Though today, I found this nice idea of the "MIDI LAN".

Curiosity kills the cat :-)

Is there a documentation available how it's implemented over the network stack. This may be a good and simple alternative to OSC to control small devices like The Raspberry via Usine, cause it looks that it is more implemented into the deep of Usine.

One of the reasons why I ask is: How I have to configure routers and firewalls that they let pass the "Midi Lan".

I've begin a new basic page on the manual about Midi lan
http://www.sensomusic.org/wiki2/doku.ph ... to_the_lan

About configuration, just accept Usine in your firewall, and use the same share port for all Usine instances/computers, thats all.
Actually works between several Usine instances

So it is a static port. Than it's simple. Thanks. I'll have a look onto the wiki.
