All -

My first uploaded patch - I use this CC Generator instead of LFOs to provide more interesting variability when driving synth parameters.

Any input & suggestions welcome!

Shawn

Thanks!

Sonically, the most interesting feature is the range fader in the upper right. Tweaking the upper & lower boundary of the CC's output is very, very helpful for sculpting tone. ESPECIALLY when it's used to control a guitar wah or a synth cutoff requency.

Some things don't work as I expected. I was hoping that reducing the 'size' of 0 would basically mean it adds 0 steps to the larger array (built by concatenating the 4 arrays), but no, instead, strange things happen.

But then I actually didn't want to fix it, because the strange things that happen are sometimes cool. So I left it as is for now.

Just realized I uploaded the wrong file...

Sorry about that... In my workspace it's a subpatch... I saved the patch, not the subpatch... I just fixed that.

If you tried to use this, please refresh from the internet & try again!

New version uploaded.

Changes:
- ON/OFF switch
- Addressed some flakiness in the UI, where sometimes the listboxes or faders would not respond as expected.
- Removed '0' length & frequency processing - it never worked as hoped.

This behaves more consistently now. Biggest correction was adding a slight delay in the processing of the listboxes, which addressed some problems in which they would not respond as expected, sometimes not at all. Code simplification + a delay addressed this. (I like the Puredata Trigger module, that allows you to dictate sequence of processing; not having that option in HH, a 4 ms delay worked nicely!)

Note: Sephult has a version of this with several enhancements, including user drawn curves! Sephult: You might want to check out the slight differences in listbox processing to address the same UI issues.

Any questions, let me know!
