I have uploaded a small utility (the first in the "data tools" category!), which helps in editing arrays. You can insert or delete a chosen element, and the array size will expand or shrink accordingly. The array in- and outputs should both be connected to the array you want to edit.

Not very exciting for sure - but might come in handy sometimes.

Hi,

I've never tried this subpatch before but now I have the need for exactly something like this.
But... I can't get this to work. Is it something within Usine that has changed?

What I need is:
When a value changes it increases the size of the array by 1 and feeds that new value into the new slot of the array.

I've been trying to build this myself for a couple of hours aswell but seem to have great difficulties with Set Array Value.

Any help much appreciated, as always!

Hi Antwan, I tested it as well with V4Beta7- without success. So I guess something must have changed, or perhaps there's a bug somewhere(?).

It's getting too late for me now to dig into this problem right now - I'll see what I can do tomorrow. Unless you've found the problem in the meantime of course!

yes it doesn't work in the beta7:
due to a bad summation of wires when they contain a null event (length=-1)
sorry for this bug.

corrected in the beta 8
very soon.

Goody-goody! I just had some spare time to try to investigate this - now I don't need to. :)

@Antwan: If I understand you correctly, that is that you only add values at the end of the array, that sub-patch is more complicated than what you need.

@Olivier: Thanks! I will give it a shot. I will see if this also helps with the problems I had with the Set Array Value module. I never exactly understood the problem I was having.

@bsork: Yes, I figured you're subpatch was a bit more complicated than what I needed. I just got interested in the fact that your patch didn't work and neither did my own construction. I will now give it a second look.

Thanks for your help.
