Up to me in 99 % of the audio software MUTE is present as a primary element !
I don’t understand why in Usine you have to deal with the setup or your hardware config to have a simple audio mute without clic ….
sorry but i'm a little beat disappointed with your answer !

Usine make a small fade in/out during the mute operation.
The length of the mute is equal to the setup/bloc size.
Why ?
Because when the fade-in is too long, the attack of the sound can be altered. which can be a problem in some situations, like starting a drum pattern.
This choice follows a long discussion somewhere in the forum....
so finally the user can choose the best crossfade for its own usage.
