hi, i am a noob here and am programming my own touch control surface to interact with ableton for my live setup, and exploring all the fun possibilities,, finally i am starting to grasp my way around this program and have made a mixing console emulating the mackie controller,
just as i was getting somewhere i went to browsing around in my patch for a knob that i wanted to delete and it was way far away from all the other objects in my patch,, now im looking at grey screen and have no idea where my objects and patches are,, they could be above me, to the left or to the right, im really lost and dont know how to have the patch window show the stuff ive created.
i found by right clicking on a fader or button that i see a find in patch command but doesnt take me anywhere.. still staring at a grey screen,, any idea's on how to get back to where i was so i can finish my little project?

thanks again for your help guru! good to know that command does what i though it does,, yes im on free version and assuming there are bugs with free ie:double clicking on fader with touchscreen sometimes like to crash program,, listed under bug fixes for 5.08, not a huge deal as i plan on buying it real soon,, very addicted,
just checked , you're right , don't work with free version..
send bug directly to senso..

I confirm, it's a bug.
Will be fixed in the next release.
but this command will stay disabled if the control is in a subpatch.
the following msg will be displayed:
'You can''t edit Sub-Patches in the FREE version.'
