hello,

I succeed into routing mobius out to tracks
http://www.sensomusic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=2556

"out 1"' (from mobius vst module) goes to "track" 1
"out 2"' (from mobius vst module) goes to "track" 2
"out 3"' (from mobius vst module) goes to "track" 3

Now I'd like to use the sequencer of "track 1" to modify the audio coming from "mobius out 1"
For exemple : I draw a pan mouvement in the sequencer. (with a user curve)

My problem is that :
- I can hear the sound "mobius out 1" going throught track 1,
- But I can't get this audio flux going throught the sequencer

My "pan" module in the sequencer doesn't change the audio

I tried "get from bus" into my pan module (into the sequencer) :
I also tried "get from bus" into the track 1 grid

any idea ?

2 different way :
you addd a panner patch ( or as subpatch in an empty sub-patch) in your sequencer, track 1 .
for this patch you get audio from the audio bus 1
then you click and drag to add a user curve module from the pan inlet of this patch

if you want to have your pan patch visible in grid mode
you add an empty sub-patch on the sequencer , inside you add a user curve module linked to a send data bus , you can rename this user curve as pan of course
then you add a panner patch on track 1 in the grid , and click and drag from the inlet pan and choose existing bus ,note that you'll have to add a change scale( in 0-1) sub-patch ( modules/data/data manipulation ) to adapt your 0-1 to the -100/100 of the pan inlet

btw, this kind of question are for patching questions topics please;)

Thx for your help Nay 7 !

I was already going the same way, you told me.
But your solution is going also deeper

I 've found the answer, everything was all right,
except the "track" mode in the track receiving the audio from Mobius
I don't why but it stop the audio going to the sequencer

so back to th "grid" mode, and everything is all right !!!

2 weeks to solve it !!! oufff ...

Do you prefer using Mobius to some of the looping modules that are made for Usine?

I was wondering what the best approach was for looping.

I used mobius in ableton and worked worked well. THe GUI is not great however.

Im interested to hear opinions

I use mobius inside usine
because I don't have the time and the patience to build an add on.

It's easy to choose in mobius if loop1 goes into sync with loop2 and loop3 is free of sync.
the scripts are also very easy to use

about integration I just found
that it is possible to replace the mobius interface with a usine interface
all the mobius button can be replace by the usine buttons
take a look to Mobius : configuration/plug in parameter

that allow also to use the scene conductor of usine with mobius
it make life very simple for live music and looping this way
all the best

That's cool. I will look into that.
Can you upload a patch of möbius with usine controls. ?
Möbius 2 seems to have improved timing.
I like being able to sync easily to the conductor and to have different presets for sync.

I shouldn't be so lazy! I should figure it out myself.

Haha.

I see now how to add parameters to the möbius vst and then control it all from usine.

Pretty great!

Did you see a loop location indicator. I guess that you would need to use the möbius GUI to see the changing graphic
(pacman) that represents where u are in the loop.

I like setting the sync to host then playing along with microtonic.
Usine is a dream host environment!

I was interested in bypassing the möbius interface and just making a usine one.
Not sure what the better approach is yet.

yes, I've understand this part, but sadly Mobius don't have many parameters visible, even the array out don't give any more access.. only access( only input) is create midi modules .
Don't know if Mobius scripts language can give midi out function
