what do you mean exactly by "i want to record it with cubase" you want use cubase to send midi in Usine or..?
anyway cubase don't provide demo version and it's also depend of the version you usebut i suppose it's a routing question.
i can answer for Reaper, but don't use cubase

Hello Nay,
I want to record in cubase the midi sent with Usine Vst. If it's working for reaper it should normaly work for cubase.I'm using an old version of cubase 5cubase SX)

yes, must be the same, generally you use 2 tracks :
one with Usine VST
and one receiving this first track as midi in..

Hello,
Finally i have decided to use Ableton live for what i need. I'm using yr patch "Fender Mustang" inside Ableton live . The problem i'm facing now, is that i can't change the tuning !! When i move the note slider in order change the string note, nothing change ! it stay with the standard tuning. What's wrong here ?
Cheers

not easy to know, have you change something in the patch..?, have you use a midi canal change in your global setup /midi in..?
many reasons possible...
works fine here

Hello,
I'm trying yr mustang patch in Ableton live with a midi keybord. And i 'm facing the same problem, only the high E note can be modified with its slider. On the other and when i'm using yr patch in Usine Stand alone with the midi keyboard, only the F note can be changed (all the notes on the keyboatd are set to channel 3. On the other hand when i'm uisng yr patch in Usine stand alone with the midi guitar, it's working perfectly
The mustang midi guitar has different midi channel for each strings right ? I have the impression that when i'm using usine as vst with the mustang patch, every strings are set to one channel therefore i can only change one string . Otherwise i can play and hear all the strings but i can't change the tuning !
Help! (need to record many things before a gig

I've spend some time to test and i don't understand how Live work in this case , as you say the mustang send midi on 6 canal , one by cord and my patch work with this. in Live all canal are set to canal 1 ...?
works fine in other hosts...
so 2 solutions :
find a Live specialist to explain what's happen here
run my patch in Usine ( in no audio mode) and send midi with a virtual midi wire to ableton

Everything in Live is set to ALL MIDI INPUT. Anyway i will try again with yr second solution.

all midi input and all channels
but when you open the patch you'll see that all is send to channel 1...
btw I've try several midi monitoring VST I've and all crash in Live...!?

So maybe i have to use Reaper if it's working fine with it ? Is it easy to set up a very basic workspace in reaper for midi recording ?
Cheers
Cheers
if you need a very basic workspace, why you don't do all the job in Usine..?

Because when i'm recording midi with the midi guitar inside Usine, the file recorded is not accurate. Notes are always shorter !
strange you always have this issue...
