Hello Planning to buy a new computer, I've been told it's good to have a SSD drive only for the system, is that true for a sound use ?
Do I "need" another ssd drive for soft ?
my plan is :
Win Seven 64bits / DDR3 Sodimm 8Go 1333Mhz (4x 2Go) quadri-channel / Intel® i7-2820QM 4x2 cores (Sandy Bridge) / Nvidia Geforce GTX 460M 1.5Go GDDR5
any suggestion, remarks or comment ?
by the way, Usine is the Best

You don't necessarily need SSDs for software. For the OS only even less.
Where an SSD really excells the most, is in loading and streaming large amounts of audio samples, video and graphics inc. games from and to disk.
