Musikmesse 2013 anybody?

Is anybody from Sensomusic going to visit the Musikmesse 2013 in Frankfurt? Any users?

It looks as if I will be there for the whole duration....

I was working with the u-he team on their new Bazille Synths GUI and did a big rendering of it for their booth:

hehehe - I'm sure Urs and the team will be happy to hear that

And you should love Bazille in that case, it's like ACE on steroids, especially with the new additions that will be shown at Musikmesse.

The GUI has also improved a lot from the Beta. I was involved with that part and one of my main efforts was, to make it more "logical" and easier for the brain to understand what's going on and how the signal flows, something not always easy to achieve in a synth of this complexitiy.

I look forward to hear how people react to it.

Hehehehe - if you followed the KVR-Thread, you may have already seen this, but Urs posted the following:

Ok... new features galore, mostly meant as supporting gear on the Tweak page:

LFOs have separate outputs for Triangle/Saw, Pulse and Random S&H - a symmetry parameter controls the waveform/lag

2 auxiliary Ramp generators (ACE-style, trapezoidal) to support existing envelopes, also banned on Tweak page

2 ACE-style Mapping Generators, similar to ACE on Tweak page

2 auxiliary VCFs which are similar to VCF1/2 but only take control rate modulation (envs, lfos, wheels) and thus live on the Tweak page. They came "free" of CPU in parallele to VCFs 1/2, as long as there wasn't any supersonic modulation. Their patch points are on the main page of course.

Each Osc has a choice of traditional Cosine for PD/FM, but you can as well use the infamous Tap The Map feature known from ACE, available for both Mapping Generators - great options both for modulation and waveform design

As has been visible in the rendering, there's now 2 inputs each for VCF and Outputs. This saves on Multiples big time, which are now available for other tasks.

Resonance modulation has its own depth parameter now - more control.

That's it in a nutshell... whole new synth, but fully backwards compatible provided you repatch the LFOs accordingly (we might be able to do this on the fly, not sure)

Sounds great. I'm trying to only sporadically watch KVR as it sucks too much time (and promotes the dreaded G.A.S).

Transitioning to semi-hermit lifestyle as a result of getting some Nord Modular gear but keen to keep up to date with Bazille and Usine.

hehehe - yeah, I know exactly what you mean regarding KVR

I have high hopes for the new Usine as well - in theory it could become my main audio software.
