Vst bypass and cpu usage

hi,

seems that when you bypass a vst it doesn't disable it..so it still uses the cpu...

generally seems to me that usine uses quite a lot of cpu..

Bypass on VST affect the audio and Midi events process. All the parameters modifications stay active.
On some very huge VST (reaktor, etc) you can see the difference.

I'm working on a new audio engine that seems to be 30% faster. I plain to post the new release in 1 or 2 weeks (time to debug in real situations).
Perhaps a beta soon.

cool...i think usine really needs some performance enhancement....

so the bypassed vst aren't really "disabled" ?

..this can cost a lot of cpu i guess..
