Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to configure some autosaving process for backup our workspace?
I was working on a projet since half hour now when Usine crashed...

I didn't see any solution to recalled or find my work now.
Fortunatly, it's not an important work.
It's a good occasion to ask to you this question. :-)

Thanks a lot (and sorry for this bad english).
J.

there's no auto save for workspace , but here a tips to find your last patches when Usine crash:

_just after the crash, don't open Usine again
_ find the folder named temp in Usine folder (or package for Mac users)
_here you'll find all the last patches you work on, generally named with the current date+hour, something like Delay-17-05-2014+21-58-43-88383442.pat
_copy all the files you need and save them in a safe place ( this temp folder is reset each time you load Usine)

Ahhhh. Awesome! This info should be somewhere more prominent, like in the manual maybe?

And couldn't usine itself check to see that it has crashed, and then either automatically do the process described by nay, or present a dialog.box asking whether to back up or not?

Thanks for all the comments.

I was wainting for another crash and here it is! ;-)
I've check in the folder "Temp" in "Application" folder and there is nothing inside...
I don't open again Usine after the crash...

Any idea?

+1 for Blaakk and Ceasless.
It's very important to work safely with this kind of option.

By the way, thanks again for all your job and your availability!

mm, strange
can you open the temp folder, open an empty workspace, now add a patch and change something ( add a fader or anything else)
do you see something in the temp folder..?

and yes, this tips will be in the next manual

Hi,

After some months, I come back for work again on Usine.
I refresh this topic because it crash again and the Temp folder is still empty...

Just to be sure...
It is this path: Application Folder -> Usine -> Temp?

I re-open my patch and I change a fader or something esle and always nothing...

Maybe it's an instalation issue?

It should be very nice if one user could test the manipulation and tell me if it's work.

Thanks a lot.
