I have tried the RC 51 and I like it. Blaak has made a nice customized version. I also like
http://thebin.free.fr/KVR/Usine/GregBasicLooper.pat

Greg's basic looper takes care of overdubbing. I think I will try combining some features of the ( rc51) juicy blu (from Blaak) and Greg's simpler
Looper. There are some other users loopers that I must try still!
I am
Excited that a hollyhock looper is quite possible.

what I'm trying to do is combine the overdub function of gregs simpler looper to the RC-51. Separate rec switches for 8 samplers ability to overdub yet maintain sync to the first loop or sync to counter. I have been trying all day but unlucky so far.

I think a "mega-looper" to rival all loopers is possible, but sooooo much to learn. Which other 'users loopers' do you speak of? :)

I'll do my best to jump on this with ya. Trying frantically to sort existing 'device streaming' problems. I'll investigate the gregbasiclooper next.

Im glad you are up to work on this too. I will let you know if i have any luck with modding the rc-51 for overdub mode.
mobius is great but i need 64bit because of large kontakt libraries and mobius doesn't work with jbridge so well.

:cool::D

Yeah man, I'm gonna be sticking my head back into the sonic stuff and actually get this shit started. I finally found the framework which'll support a visual layer. Tried a lorra lorra software.

I read through a fair bit of the mobius documents a while back. I haven't come across anything that surpasses it so far. Seems to have the majority of things covered if thou dare diggith deep enough. What's the problem with it and JBridge'?

Can you believe I just deleted about 500Gb of my data!? Thankfully it's recovering (12 hours left), but....jeez. Slippy fingers.

Mobius is available in both versions, 32 and 64 bit . At least they write it on their download page.

oh, wait... that's confusing. In the KVR directory and on the download page it is declared as 32 and 64 bit. And in the installation manual you can read: " It is not a native 64-bit application but it is known to work on 64-bit hardware." :)

Mobius is 32bits but can be run standalone from Win 64. It can't be run as a VST from a 64 bits host.
Seamus, Blaakk, I'm following your project with big interest. But I can't help, math are not my friend ;)

How come the Juicy Loopers aren't in the add-ons? :P

Juicy loopers are really just RC-51's with small modifications. Like mute and vol.

Well, those modifications sound pretty useful to me! It's always nice to be able to instantly grab patches that people are discussing on the forums. (Shout outs to Usine's lovely, hassle-free add-ons system!*)

Greg's Basic Looper also appears to be missing.

Add-ons -- even unfinished ones -- are always appreciated (by me, anyway ;) ). Seems like a lot of creative minds around here, I'm sure there are all sorts of amazing patches amongst you, out of sight. Videos at least people, please!

Speaking of, I've got some ideas for a new take on U-Pad :D

Ceasless! ;)

Ya know how I spoke of losing data...? Usine library..... gone. Oops. A USB backup is somewhere, but don't know from when. Glad I uploaded looper... which yes is basically an RC-51, but with it's big touchscreen friendly buttons, it'll be great for some showcasing (very soon, promise). Actually, pleased to start something with touchscreen being considered from the beginning.

About the add-ons... I was viewing it as incomplete. When I've rebuilt it and given it a few more functions, consider it added in to the add-ons. :D

Physical setup I think will probably stay like this though.... Image
