depends on what you want to do :)
m-audio uc33 has many knobs and faders as well (but it is old controller so you have to search for one).
i am using korg nno control+akai apc mini+akai mpd32

I have the Launch Control XL, it's pretty good. But I didn't realize that Panorama had released the P1 when I bought it. That one looks really slick.

Basically anything at all will work incredibly well with HH, because you can wire it to work however you would like!

That said, drakh has been releasing great stuff for those Akai controllers. A good place to start if you want plug and play.

ahs:

It will be awesome, without a doubt! Anything grid-like can probably be easily wired into existing grid patches like drakh's APC mini patches. There are already Launchpad versions of both actually. (drakh, I'm saying it again, I love you man!)

You mentioned knobs though, so I left the grid controllers off the table. If you like grids AND knobs, you will probably love Push. Some caveats specifically for Usine:

I have plans to hook drakh's patches up to Push and write a blog post about it at the same time. I was waiting on HH2 for it though. And it's here! So it will be soon, I hope. With Push I hope to eventually have the 'ultimate' (non-touchscreen) controller for Usine. And to help this, everything is modular -- anything made for one grid can be fit onto another.

I've already got a lot of functionality covered by a script module like changing all the pad colors or sending text to individual segments of the LCD. It just needs to be distilled into multiple modules and documented properly. There's a thread about it in the add-ons section.
