output generator data to midi in HH4

I am simply trying to generate MIDI data via the ie RANDOM generator and send this to a VSTi

I am coming from HH3 where I was able to set this up

In the patch view, I do not see any ie MIDI out option to route this to my VSTi in the same rack, like was available in HH3. The same issue is seen with the other generators as well. what am I missing? does this have to do with the new modular functionality?

These generator's are for data by defaults, but you can easily transform them by expanding the module ( left up arrow) to view the midi out
you can also use midi random modules ( modules/midi) or even the patch midi randomator ?
There's also some in the tutorial patches in the browser

yes there are many options for random/etc, I particularly like the visual feedback/scope with pitch/value range in this case
