Hi

Is it normal that USINE don’t work whit INTERNAL SOUND CARD ? Only with ASIO DRIVER.

if no, any suggestions ?

My stuff: MACBOOK PRO 2.2GHZ,OX10.5.3, with Boot Camp updated on 2.1, windows XP SP2.

My internal sound card is a Realtek whit the last driver from 2008.

Regards

Charles

Hi thanks for this answer but this not what exactly I want to know.

I know about ASIO4All. But with my RME firface i don't have any problems using USINE with ASIO drivers and all the other software (windows media, audacity, B4 VSTi, ….) manage to use the internal sound card without ASIO4all or any other stuff …

To be more precise, my question is:

Is it normal that my Internal sound card is not recognized in the USINE control panel?

yep , it's normal cause Usine works only with asio driver

( check manual : Hardware & Software requirement : An Asio sound card compatible or a WDM sound card with the universal Asio driver
Asio4all available at http://www.asio4all.com/. )

sorry if i was'nt enought clear..

Don't cry Charles, generally WDM drivers aren't suitable for live music, because of the latency.
I use Usine on a mac book with Asio4All: no problem.
