Hi there - again!
I can't seem to find a module that will play an audio file once and just stop. Any suggestions?

Thanks

- u can do it with the sample module.
for example: use the 'end' or 'pos' outlet with a logical module and control the start/stop behavior in this way
- load a wav in the sequencer
- use an external sampler vst and build ur own interface with usine

hi there..

just use a sampler (audio->samplers) and set sync mode to play button. hook up a button to the play inlet and that should do the trick...that is, if you want to keep it really simple :]

Thanks again guys. I notice that the sampler module is limited to 6 mins playing time so decided to use a plugin instead. I'm playing along to a number of pre-recorded "spines" btw. The more I delve, the more I'm excited by the possibilities but I need to get my set up and running under usine and check it's stable yet. It's crashed a couple of times while I've been messing about with patching though no problems when it's actually doing it's thing while I'm doing my thing, so to speak...

Cheers

right nay-sevent.
just for info, the max record time of the sampler module is 10 minutes.
I think it's sufficient for most live sampling?
but can be increased easily if you feel limited.
