I'm not sure how Live works, but in Reaper for an example you can simply select what to record - audio/midi in/out, etc.
In the Bassliner patch you have to add and connect a MIDI out module.
This is at least how I could make it work.

best way : don't use Live...
second way : 2 things to do :
first add a midiout on the out inlet of the Swing It! script module in the bassliner patch
second : in Live add a midi track and choose usine vst as midi in for this new track...et voila...

thank u so much guys,
i agree with u Nay Seven, using Live it's a bit like eating Mc Donalds : U know it's bad but can't help doing it! Whereas Usine it's more like real Bio Food from the "terroir" but need more time to cook.
Slowly i 'm moving my organisation to Usine!!! i'm waiting for the 4.0 version

Sorry for bumping this old post, but I need 1 post before starting a thread and my question is about Bassliner.
I am a bit confused, is the "add octave bass" button supposed to play the same sequence an octave higher? What is happening here is that the higher octave is offset in time too from the sequence.

yes, this switch " Add a bass line an octave higher and shifted by half duration to create more complex patterns. "
( most of patch in Usine have a wiki page , check the little ? in the patch window )

Ah, thanks nay-seven.... it was a bit late last night, I have had a look at the patch this morning and I see how it works. Merci beaucoup!
