Hi.
I just bought Usine after evaluating it, just waiting for my license now.

Just trying to create a little midi file looper...

edit/update 2:

Solved...a little frustrating, but I guess you got to play with teh tools to figure it out...;-)

Hi and welcome!

The piano roll defaults to sync mode=loop I think, but if I understand you correctly it seems as if you have sync mode=button enabled. "Button" means one-shot, while "loop" means loop between start pos and end pos, disregarding length - like looping an audio file. You should use one of sync modes cycle or bar - cycle being X bars as set in the dashboard. The start and end pos should match as well. These can be controlled with click'n'drag in the piano roll window if you want.

To switch between files, you have to have something connected to the num file input, eg a fader or a list box, the default being a fader if you create a control by ctrl-dragging from the input. Use MIDI learn on the control and assign a CC or whatever to it. You can set a quantize option on the control so that the change isn't immediate but happens on the next cycle or bar.
