Hi all,
2 Audio cards + 2 CPU + 2 instances of Usine.
One insance on each CPU and on each audio card.
Instance A is master since instance B is slave with remote (for dashboard, sync and main level controls) and a couple of Maple Midi Ports for VSTs and VSTis. There is also SPDIF cables between the two cards.
I thought that was a smart solution for my sometimes big setups. It's interesting and it works fine!
But, since a single instance uses one whole CPU, when there is two instances running (one on each CPU), each of them can use only half of its respective CPU. The dashbord shows 80% when it's actually only 40%... and when I reach 50%, usine's audio engine pauses, of course.
When CPU protect is set to 100%, CPU can go up to 70%, but ooops the sound.......
Is there any internal feature that divide actual CPU level by the number of running instances of Usine?
Any idea on this weird issue? Something I can do?
Thanks.
