hey... huge work for more than ten years!

some elements look like very old today...
I also like some others with simple design or soft colors
and what I prefer is all this improvements you bring to Usine

10+ years.

wonder how I could overlook usine for so long time?
even a blind hen may sometimes find a grain of corn :)

I had no idea... where have I been all this time!? I've only had two-ish months to enjoy this brilliant creation and already it has almost completely become the central core of my production/performance system. Where was Usine when I was first googling my way through the deep murk of the web trying to glue together an otherwise seemingly impossible approach to a live performance?

+1 on the curvy cable comeback

This reminds me of the reaper screenshot timewarp over here: http://www.cockos.com/reaper/timewarp.php

I find it quite motivating to see how a complex software like usine (or reaper) evolved. It´s simply amazing to see what a dedicated developer (or a group of them) can accomplish over the years.

Great work, senso. :)

I had understood that you've been working on Usine for such a long time, but had no idea that it was for that long! Thanks for the insight. Those 0.9 screenshots look familiar, though. Getting slightly nostalgic....

(I don't care about whether the lines are straight or curved, but I wouldn't mind the in- and outlets getting a bit bigger again.)

...to precise a little bit....
I just arrive here in last september, and feel more like a new Usiner
I appreciate to see these old screenshots and comment on it ....but with no nostalgia like 'old' users (but certainly still young!)!

on another side, a very important point for me is the active community
I can find a lot of answers already post in the forum; I'm not an expert then my questions are very simple ones,
it's also motivating to feel the friendly atmosphere and this emulation in the forum
even if sometimes I don't really understand some points of what people discuss!!
slowly I make progress....

Then thanks to all the users who bring this good vibe!!

I think the community has his history too...

i know what you mean - i struggle with some of the technical stuff as well but it is such a friendly forum here - sometimes i selfishly wish that usine remains a 'secret' so we don't end up with a nastier forum like ableton or kvr :)
