hi matignasse,

it was an (unfortunalety) private school named Supinfocom arles, south france, there is also one older at Valenciennes.the complete cycle is 4years during the 2 first we learn art history, drawing, no cj then the 3rd year we learn 2d, 3d basic softs and the 4th we make a short..
there are other friends short previews in "gallerie": http://www.supinfocom-arles.fr/ or supinfocom on youtube.

ok,

so you have a solid background in 3d and drawing in general... 'chapeau bas'

I began the 'emile cohl' school in my 'young day's' (more than 15 years ago), it was before they teach 3D....never finish the first year.

but i did some after that, the autodidact way, it was fun but it's an hard job (loooong day in front of the screen).

thx bsork. seems a bit 'old' now when i looked at it back back but definitely wanted to share to my usinerz friendz:)

martin: I would say solid in 2D,3D overall (Afx,3Ds max), but I really lost my drawing skills by letting down with time, sadly.
If I well remember I first tried several public shools in paris and Emile Cohl (lived at time near Lyon) enter without success :)

with time I think I learned far more dealing everyday job productions pbs and learning in the good old autodidact way. But to be honest now im a bit fed up cause some shi+y advertisingz ( t or n, and generally booth) I was voicing after are now taking me too much time to focus enough on music...; It's very balanced between cool, creative but not paid jobs (shorts, clips), or working for evil "to get food". But there still have creative process in some rare advertisings hopefully.
Don't worry, doing one year tutorial, nights on your screen and you quasi learned more than what the school leant me,seriously!

So ya make 3d,cg too? what soft do ya use? I guess you have a more personnal/creative purposes,or is it your job too?
...but definitely let's meet at electrolyses :)
