question: Is it fairly straightforward to do the following with usine:

Let's say our song structure is A - B - C - D. During a performance, we decide we want to repeat the final "D" one or two times. Or when we reach the end of D, we want to go back to the start of C.

We want to go from the end of some section to the start of another section, we never want to break off in the middle of a section.

Is this possible?

Hi 80skeys, and welcome in Usine world :)

There is lot and different ways to achieve this kind of things with Usine.

In the 'sequencer' mode, there is a 'marker' functionality that let you organize the way sequences should be played.

The 'grid mode' is more event based, it's more like

on top of that, you have the 'conductor', where you can 'snapshot' some workspace states (each part of your song) and make a kind of playlist.

From your description, sequencers markers or the conductor should make the jog easily.

hope i give you some key words to go deeper.
