Hello everyone
after some testing with the conductor,i couldnt find the solution for safe preset changing. When in grid mode the conductor records all the selections of the virtual instrument i loaded in rack, and it reacts correctly until i connect a midi input-to midi filter-filter program change(as a sugestion from another user to resolve the msb lsb program change problem in usine).
Before the midi input i changed the presets normally with the mouse with sounds switching fast and no hangs. After the midi input for changing presets from my yamaha s80 master keyboard, the conductor goes crazy.it freezes Usine or being precise, slows it down until it is unusable, and whats more it stops the audio too.
it is strange and i cant find any other way for changing my presets
i connected the midi filter(program change filter) code 1 out to num of conductor emulator from usine panels
any idea?any help?
thanks in advance...happy programming

welcome erjos..
i've just test sending midi to a midi filter and use the number of note ( don't have a keyboard with program change ) to a conductor , i've also test with a create midi module simulating program change ...no problem here...
maybe you can try to simplify your patch to isolate the problem..?

Thanks Nay for your reply
in fact i did a very simple patch,an automatic one.I jus filled the rack slots with instrument plugins, like moog, albino, the grand etc and tried to move through the instruments in rack to play their library.just that.Usine created by itself all the inputs and outputs.I open the conductor and saved 4 snaps that reccalled every instrument in rack mode and tried to change the snaps from a midi controller with program change.Strange behavior...Also i noticed that each time i changed the active slot with mouse or computer keyboard (up and down arrows) i hear trigered sounds from the loaded instruments, which some times hangs and i got to press panic in order to stop the note sounding involuntary

i must admit i don't use the rack mode this way (i mean a vsti in each row ) , most often i have a vsti in the first row then i've my vst (effects only ) , i've to test ..
have you check the wiki about this mode..?

for example , about midi note , when you change the row before the midi note off message , it's normal that your note hang forever...

Yes,i have seen the manual and wiki, but i liked the idea of vst's in a grid because it only process the selected active patch, which mean, saves cpu.And whats more its faster in creating conductor presets (just a few mouse clicks) and it keeps the gui clean with only one track for synths, not as many tracks as vst's you want.thats too profitable for processing the same aux setings for monitoring live on stage.imagine having a lot of tracks for a lot of vsti's and keeping the same setings(levels, post pres, sends etc) for monitoring live in stage, when the keyboardist changes from sound to sound....
