Hello,

i'm looking for a software or freeware in order to create midi chords. For example if i need a A major seventh chord i simply click and i get the chord. i have already tried tone space and chord space and i didn't find them really efficient for my purposes.

thanks in advance

I've suggest recently this one :
http://azertopia.free.fr/Supermidiscripter.html
maybe it can do the job for you , you also have the script of usine of course..

it must be easy to do this with usine, pre enter the chords intervals and make buttons that will trigger the two other when you press a note no? do you play from external keayboard or you want buttons to create chords?

hello, thanks a lot yr attention!!! what i need is a tool for composition, i won't play with external keyboard. Concerning the script i'm not at a level i can built my tools scriptwise. What i need is as many chords type with inversions in all keys and then i'm listenening some guitar improvisation i have recorded (drone) and choose different chords by clicking on the midi chords processor until i find the one that fits according to my ears. So i click again (or different) and the chord is recorded in midi in the piano roll :) . it can be good for creating original chords progressions

Thanks for yr help Usiners !

a long time ago I made a small utility called composer.
you enter chords on a grid like D-7 G7 CM7 A7#9 and the soft plays the chords in tempo.
maybe it can help I'll post-it in as soon as possible (next week)

there are various midi chorder vst plugins that can do the job.

some free candidates:
az audio domaj // small+ easy

topza chordworx

ChordSpace // advanced still easy
http://www.chordspace.com/ChordSpaceindex.htm

mucoder hypercyclic // maybe the best arpeggiator around, also does chording
mucoder tonespace // complex chorder
http://www.mucoder.net/hypercyclic/
