I'm migrating my rig from Bidule. I'm running Mobius for looping, Jamstix for drums, Absynth, FM-8 and Battery as sound modules, and a few effects. I set Usine to dual CPU as I'm running on a dual core 2.2 processor. It looks like I need to balance the VSTs between the even and odd tracks to get the load balanced and maximize my throughput. I got a lot of noise on the line when sending an audio input track over a bus to a track on the other cpu. I can work around that as the synths generating their own sound don't have the issue.

My question for the group: How do I best balance the cpu load or do I need to?

Thanks in advance,
-Ty

have you tried the two different dual core modes? i found the split thread one seemed to work better for me. are you sending the audio via the internal buss modules or using the aux busses to chain the tracks? what sort of latency are you running the sound card at? i'm assuming you want it as low as possible though with the live looping you do.

love the video you've posted - sounds great!

For my dual core setup I typically run all my VSTI's on Track one and bus the audio to my VST's on track two. This has worked quite well for me.
