Hi,

I have downloaded the free version of Usine. First, it's a very nice software!
I want to buy a touch screen to play my music with the very great modulable interface of usine. But, I want to keep my compositions into Ableton Live, having on one screen Live and on an other Usine. So I'm asking if I can use Usine as a simple midi controller to assign any button and sliders I created in the touch screen mode to any button and sliders in Ableton Live ? And then how ? I've been searching but I have not found answer.

See you !

hello and welcome !
there different way achieve this but most of people use virtual midi cable between Usine and Live
depend of your OS you can try some of this ones :
http://www.nerds.de/
http://www.midiox.com/myoke.htm
http://www.maplemidi.com/Maple_driver.html

then you can use a create midi module to send midi information like this :

Image
here a fader to choose the number of the midi controller you want send
the fader 2 to send values of this controller,
the has change module send a 1 value to create message each time you move your fader

you can also use piano roll linked to a midi out module to send midi note and more..

Yes it works now !

I've installed MappleMidi and it has created 4 virtual midi ports.
