Hello,

I just discovered Usine yesterday, with a demo with a multi touch screen and it looks amazing.
But I have a question :-)
I'm currently looking for a tactil control board for my favorite DAW : Cubase.
Of course I see the jazzmutant, but I found Usine and it looks like really great.
So my question is : Is possible to use Usine for controlling VST, eq, insert, fader, pan, etc on cubase? like a Mackie universal surface, or Euphonix controller ?
Thanks a lot !

i don't see any problem with that , you can built your own interface sending midi message
and sending them to Cubase via a virtual midi cable ..;-)

i wouldnt say its no problem if u want Mackie control.
Mackie MCU is a propietary protocol, means some advanced automations only work with Mackie (or similar) controllers.

there has been good work on making a behringer BCR/BCF act like a Mackie controller.
it should be well possible to make Usine act like a Mackie controller too - would be very kewl to have :)

Yes I heard it about Behringer, but I prefer the multi touch screen feeling ;-)

I will try the demo version on Cubase 5, to see how it works :-)
