Hi,
I'm new to Usine and find it very interesting. I've downloaded it a week ago and began to play with it a little. It seems that because of its modular nature you can do very complex and cool thing that perfectly meets your needs. You just create a patch for every single functionality you find useful. But, is there a place where one can share freely his patches to others ? I've searched the forums but can't find a clear answer to this question. It's seem that the add-ons section is a kind of official distribution of advanced patches but is reserved to gold members.
Thanks !

Hi ooo,
The add-ons section seems to be what you are looking for. Nothing official or advanced there, the proof is I'm a very basic user of Usine but I've published a patch there.
About the accessibility for non gold members, I can't tell you the reason of this choice but I remember it's been discussed with Olivier in a(n old) thread and approved by the community.

Thanks for the reply, La Tenaille.
In fact, the add-ons section is not what I'm looking for. I search a place were I can give a patch for *free* to *any* user, even non gold member. If I put the patch on the add-on section, a free user will have to pay something to access it even if I wanted to give it away for free (à la "open source" spirit).
Perhaps the place I'm looking for is the "uploader section" ?

Well I'll be - never noticed that there was a few patches in the uploader section...
The add-ons is where most users post their patches, but it seems the uploader would suit your purposes - what's the official word on this Senso?

What is the correct way to create a patch wiki page?
I created a page with this name
http://www.sensomusic.com/wiki/doku.php ... :users:ooo
I created a page with this name
http://www.sensomusic.com/wiki/doku.php ... o:my_patch
I have upload the .pat file (empty for now, it's just for testing the wiki).
I added the link to the uploaded .pat file in the "my_patch" page above.
Am I correct?
I am not sure because the page
http://www.sensomusic.com/wiki/doku.php ... al:modules shows two "ooo" links in the "User Modules" section...
And I suspect that the download link has to be not in the manual wiki page (user's page is a better place?).

yes, a little problem here..

you have to click on your user name and use the "create this page " button :
http://www.sensomusic.com/wiki/doku.php?id=users:ooo
upload your patch using the uploader link of the forum and copy this link in your page...

Ok. I've moved the download link to my page and removed it from the manual page.
But the first problem is not solved:
"the page
http://www.sensomusic.com/wiki/doku.php ... ules:users shows two "ooo" links"
I suspect that this problem comes from the fact that i added a second hierarchy level (modules:users:ooo:my_patch). When I remove the "ooo:my_patch" page the problem is solved... Perhaps it is a bug in the "alphaindex" wiki macro?

I have a problem with the wiki: for me the "create this page" button and the "edit" button never appear. The only "edit" button I have, is the one for the index frame on the left.

in fact , it's the reason,:
member can't edit the wiki..( spam protection )
so we have to find an alternative way...
btw , I've delete the tips you give in your post to edit , i suppose you'll understand..
I'll let you know if we find a solution..
