When I get this message in the console "Warning : the Wave-Player is on", i would like to know where I can access the waveplayer and/or how to desactivate it.

You find the waveplayer under the Windows menu (can't remember the shortcut key). In the waveplayer window, there's a switch in the lower left corner to turn it off.

the short cut is [ctrl+F6]
