i just begin with usine and it's a dream but (et oui,il y a toujours des but)
i have some question :
- the installation first, i don't find usine in "programme et fonctionnalites", and when i click on a WPK file windows says that usine is not installed propely....
-is it possible to put usine on automatically at statup i try with the run option of the dasboard module and the on initialization module but it's don't work....
-is it possibleto keep the minimization of the "entete" of the track at startup
-i have some problem with setup,
in midi input,i loose sometime one of the midi input, it was remplced by another one???,
in audio output i use the two mono input like that :
in1: in 1 L : fw 410 analog in 1 (i have the m-audio FW410 who works perfectly)
in 1 R: fw 410 analog in 1
in2: in 2 L : fw 410 anlog in 2
in 2 R : fw 410 analog in 2
is it right?
and sometimes it replace in 2 by in 1 so i loose the second input!!!!!!
- does exist the sama as stacked macro from reaktor?
-i have a problem with the mouse on fader, i create fader with a bitmap from 0 to 127, i when i moved the mouse the fader skip
a lot of value for example i must have 0,1,2,3,4,5 and i have 0,3,5,9,.....,it's a big problem for me, i modify "small icon tolerance" but it's the same.....
-i use mobius but the postion of the windows is not memorized by usine(i don't use dual windows...)
does somebody have the same problem?

normal cause Usine don't install anything in your C: , it's a portable software, you decompres the zip et hop, that's all , about wkp files , right click on it and choose open with point to Usinemain.exe in the files dir

if it's usb devices , it's a windows issue who change the id of usb dvices on startup

for audio it's the firewire 410

gone to see what is a macro in reaktor , a kind of sub-patch you can reload or..?
it's a subpatch with other subpath in it and with an index you can choose the activ subpatch
i m going to try to make it, ithink it's possible with container

about your midi devices you loose , you can try copperlan to solve this , here the tread :

about your fader, can you upload an example..?

about your FW in/out issue.
maybe a driver problem?

how can i upload an example of my fader (for the mouse problem)?

you can zip the files and use the uploader of this forum, then copy paste the link in your post
same process than for a picture, check this tips

if you can help with router 1 N it must send a trigger to the selscted show

ok, there's some pictures missing , but i understand
in the edit layout window, active the touch hi precision button and play with the precision factor , will work
it's because your fader is really small ( for example if you use midi learn, this works , even now..) with the mouse it's difficult to have 127 step in a such little place..

i try with precision factor and theres allways the problem....

yes, i've see , but there's no link between the container and the precision of a fader
here without touch hi precision button active , i note jumps as you said
with the touch hi precision on and a precision of 8 or 10, i can smoothly pass from120,121,122 and so..
that's why i ask if someone else can try ..

it's exactly the same fader that used on reaktor and i have no problem with it
on reaktor you can specifie the number of step of the mouse...

i've send your fader to senso, i know he also has reaktor , maybe he can give you an answer..

but if someone else want try...here just the fader in a patch

Usine has a different approach than Reaktor, especially the touch-screen management.

@zarby:
you'll not obtain the expected result with a vertical fader but you should try great encoders made by 23fx. Can be a source of inspiration?

so, if you want to use your keyboard , you can add 2 button on the fader and use key learn on it..?


for your patch : if i understand correctly , activate the audio flow in the dispatcher ( this way only the select out send 1 , others will be reset to 0 ) and use the visible inlet , not the show inlet of the container
