Hi joffo
yes it will work with a video projector as well. In fact it's based on jonny Lee idea, ya probably seen this vid:
wiimite whiteboard

wich at start is using IRpens and videoprojector, i just made some tests where i wanted to run on old CRT and
instead of using IR pens I tested to make IR rings to have more natural hand gestures, and cause in therory if using 4 rings, some very responsive multitouch is possible, for virtually free, on anything.

however i could never test true multitouch cause sadly wiimote whiteboard (the calibration and mouse driver tool) doesn't
work on W7 64bits and it need some TUIO to W7driver conversion if multi. there are tools for that but i let down the idea as beeing on 64 bit os. I hope jonny lee will updte whiteboard on 64bits, by waiting im locked...

But if wanna test single touch, or even attemp multi, on 32 bit systems it works like a charm and it's very easy to setup.
Basically the wiimote tracks XY of ir dot and revserse and remap coordinates to apply to mouse cursor. So here
the wiimote was behind me slighty on the right , looking at my screen. the ring was made using a basic IR led i bought on CONRAD.fr, but you can find some in any old tv remote.

then i made a system to swich on the led when my finger is touching the screen. here it was done with a piece
of paper (underground ticket) that has a < shape so when i press it make contacts between the two parts on wich
i put some chocolate aluminum to let some 3V signal power the led, but some more precise stuff is possible
using miniatures swichs like those ones:

and mini embeded buttons batteries. (here i had a borring wire).

you can find lot of doc, explain and the Driver you will need (wiimote whiteboard) here:

hi 23fx23
thank you for your answer.
i knew jonne lee page and i think it's a very good idea to use it with usine. I'll try to buy minimote first and test it with the wiimote module in usine. Do you think is possible to use it like mouse and midi controller in usine both ?
i don't understand how wiimote whiteboard make the difference between move and click.
Do i need only a wiimote and a bluetooth connection to play with that ?

yes only need bluetooth to connect to wiimote, wich is then recognized as Hid device. But it's sometimes capricious.
by default it outputs all the accelerometers values, and if using IR leds, the camera tracks up to 4 points.
But i only tested monoTouch version of whiteboard. wiimote whiteboard clic and moves the mouse when the led is on.

Not tested but im quasi sure you can use wiimote module in usine while using it in mouse technique, but the wiimote used as tracker for mouse in above technique should remain fixed, and calibrated to the screen, only the IRled will be used
as moving controller, so as it moves the mouse, can get the xy data via mouse module.

some different possibility (that i did)to make mouse is the reverse: fixing a led on the screen and point it via moving the wiimote,
but it need to be scripted in glove pie, but more modular then as you handle it in hands and can make some combos
functions using the wiimotes buttons, ie to tab from mouse control to change to control parameter A, or B ect.

thanks for pointing me to this nay-seven,this looks really interesting,i wanted to get a touchscreen overlay for my 22inch lcd but they arent cheap,so this looks really interesting.gonna have to get myself a wiimote now
