Warning; Newbie here.

I want to record 3 outputs (6 channels). If I tell 3 outputs to record to disk I get a file that foobar can't play. What format am I getting and/or how can I record either 6 mono waves or a 6 ch wave?

Thanks!

OK, I figured out that while the file dialog is open the temporary files are available and I can play the ones I want, however as soon as I chose a file name and say save, or hit cancel to close the dialog box, the temp files go away and I'm left with one (confused) file.

Any suggestions?

2nd recording question, how do you sync the start and stop of the recorder with playing a wave file?

just a precision : you record from the sampler or the general recorder of Usine..?

For synchro you can add a switch to the rec inlet of the sampler and right click on it on the control panel and choose a quantize function.
For the general recorder, you also can add a switch to the dashboard module ( modules/interface control/usine panel/dashboard ) and do the same

OK, I got that figured out. Used a switch and an AND so the switch is a "Recorder Arm".

Am I correct in assuming that only audio can be passed between the patches in a track or layout (not parameters, arrays, etc.)?
