Hi all ! Hi Mr senso ( I always take a look to usine evolution , nice work and congrats ) !

Here is my problem and questions.

I'd like to control my hardware via midi with an ipad ( I don't own one yet), and it could be very smart if I could use usine again. I've seen windows XP and windows 7 running on a pad on the net. Since I need to control my hardware synth , I can't use OSC technology, so i'm looking to a line 6 mobilizer connect to an ipad running wondows and usine. I'd like to know if anyone here had such a success? Does windows running on a ipad could recognize the line 6 mobilizer hardware? Have you got other solutions in mind?

Thanks you in advance, and long life to usine !

Afaik windows don't really run on ipad, the used techniques are based on vnc. Another windows machine send the display updates via network to ipad, and ipad send back touch info, but not multi. So with this the midi can run directly via the pc, the ipad is then only a touchscreen ( with noticable lag). Not sure it's that cool. If it was true os onboard or true wireless video transmit and multitouch back, i would have go for it, but...

Thanks for your answer. I don't investigate a lot about windows on ipad. I'm a bit ignorant about this...( so it's probably a fake ?? : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpILv3XGZts ). Perhaps one day....

Ipad is for me a good idea still it is small and long life battery powered ... I will think about it.

There is also an interesting midi interface for ipad: http://iconnectmidi.com/iconnectmidi-revolution

mmm oh, you are right, seems real native boot here mmm

very strange cause msOs arn't suposed to run on arm architecture, but who knows with hackers ;)
this could be a fake, but if real that kind of rocks!!!

yup anyway the ipad is a great tool, but i would like to be sure to run usine multitouch on it personally.

hello there
just can't understand why you can't use OSC to control usine wich control your line 6 modelizer ...

I used an Ipod touch to control usine for multichannel output, sample-trigger and midi output ...
