hi all..

stumpled over this yesterday
IanniX is a graphical open-source sequencer, based on Iannis Xenakis works, for digital art. IanniX syncs via Open Sound Control (OSC) events and curves to your real-time environment.

..strange thing but nice interface. didn't do too much testing though...

cheers,

How can you open it in USINE, because "Iannix alone makes no sounds and does not use audio directly". I tried to open some plugins unsuccessfully.

you can't open Iannix in Usine , but Iannix send OSC messages ( port = 2001 ) Usine can use

this is what I receive from IanniX to USINE console: [1609381] OSC in from 127.0.0.1 : /cursor (fff)
But receive OSC module keep silent and send OSC can't send nothing to IanniX.

yes, just realize they change the send port in the last beta , it's now 57120 ( to be compatible with ableton)
and by default the Iannix receive port is 1234, but i never test the receive use

and things will be more easy with next Usine release too, with a new mode in the OSC receive module

Unfortunately not, I don't know why my Usine can't receive any data from Iannix. Maybe there is need for some configuration on Iannix? hmmmmm...

nothing to change in Iannix..disable the firewall to check if the problem is not here
then add a simple circle and press play in Iannix, do you see the adress near the transport..? something like
osc://127.0.0.1:57120/cursor 2 0.186425 0.110551 -1.54291 -1.34719 0
