I notice that when I disconnect a wire from an output or when I turn a patch off that sometimes I'll get a angry noise in that channel. I think this may be new since 5.7. It happens with audio matrix sometimes, as well and doesn't matter what I have patched. Is anyone else seeing this? Or could it be my ASIO driver?
Thanks,

have you try the same patch in the old 5.50.58 and confirm you don't have this problem too..?

That will take some doing. I'm not sure that I have an old version any more. Does it happen to you?

I get something similar but it only happens very occasionally and is not repeatable. It has always happened for me with all versions of Usine, maybe once or twice in a week when I use Usine most days so is very rare for me. Senso never found a reason for it so I have always blamed by ASIO driver!

I'm assuming the removed connections are audio signals(?). If so, isn't it more likely that it has something to do with the last receiced audio block "hanging". I've encountered something similar with the volume/mute module: turning gain down to -inf (ie <=-80dB) or muting often creates a static noise, which sounds different each time. Turning down to -79.9dB does however not.

Bjørn and Caco-
Yep, that's the scenario. I have better luck turning audio down than off. And it is not always, but for me more often than 'sometimes'.
