Hello,

i don't manage to save a midi file the way i record it ! Does anyone encounter that kind of problem ? I'm just using the Mustang Patch and a piano roll ! i can see in the piano roll the different note length, but when i "save as" the file is different in term of note length ! they have all the same length ! When i open the file in Ableton Live, it's the same, all notes have the same length !
I don't get it ! i'm not using quantification either.... is it a bug ?

Help :)

hi there,
why don't you try to post an example of a saved midi file in order to test the problem? :)

Hello,

After many turns,i'm still facing the same problem. I have uploaded a piano roll . the first midi file is the one recorded, and the second one is the first one saved and then imported . I don't understand why it's not the same ?

Can you help ?

yes, you're right
not always easy to reproduce, works sometimes more when only 1 measure and from preset 1
we have to to investigate, thanks for your feedback

i have had many problems trying to save midi files. I was using a wind controller sending aftertouch data and note ons and offs. I had similar quantizing effects that seemed to randomly happen.

yes, we know there's several improvement to do for this piano roll, we hope to have this resolved for the new version /product coming..
( btw, hope all is fine for you seamus, was thinking about you recently when seeing New York under the water)
