Hi all.

Every body tell me about ''Ableton live'' since a long time.

<<Live blablabla and Live blablabla ... >> :)

So i am testing this software. I don't realy understand what Live can do that Usine cannot ?
I understand that it seems to be more easy, of course more useful when play with a lot of loop but it seems to be more close and conventionel.

Did i miss something very interesting in Ableton Live that i had to search ?

Any body use Live and Usine ? Why ?

Thank you.

Hi,

just to give my impression as an none expert but using both usine and live (lite version !), Live is for sure more user friendly at the beginning (for basic operations). I believe what live can have that usine don t have is his powerfull time stretch machine and some very effective prebuild effects and sound banks. Otherwise live is for sure more close and conventional (and more expensive also !).

but could be interesting to have the opinion of someone like 23fx23.. ; )

If you have something live NI Komplete though the time stretching in kontakt is just as good (if bot better) really, and the effects/instruments are probably better than those in live...
