Visuals and audio not synched

Hi all, Im using a simple midi generator (see image). I notice that the visuals and audio is not syched for this patch. My sound card admittedly is not very good but I notice that the sound is lagging behind the viusals by a significant amount..? Is this a bug or just down to the latency in my sound card?
