I plan to modify the global ergonomy of Usine. Simplify a little, keep only the sequencer & grid modes.
Do you really use the sequencer Live mode?
Is it a big problem to suppress it?

If you do that, i just sell back my license.
...And maybe kill you one day.

Well, sorry for my answer, Olivier.
In fact, I just meant: if I'm alone to do that way, I certainly could find another solution.
Usine's sequencer is becoming a very, very powerful tool, and I'll use it more and more (a lot more than Conductor mode). I mean, in live situation of course.
Question: How is it possible to change things on the fly when performing in sequencer mode?
Of course, if you need to suppress the live mode, just do it...

I don't need to suppress it.
It was just an option for future development.
Don't worry, i'll keep it!

No sounding example for the moment, sorry. Nothing recorded...
But as soon as the new version of the sequencer is released, I'll try to do a tuto.
My favorite trick is to insert patches with a sync module connected to a user curve. That can make the sequence stop by itself for some brakes or restart to a specified marker. Or whatever you like!

Yes please do a tuto!
I still didn't use the sequencer so far as I'm a bit "afraid" of it and honestly I didn't quite understand what you are talking about. Still llearning Usine... although my patching made some good progress and I'm already using it in live situations.

I'm glad you're patching for your gigs! And you'll may be glad to learn that I'm still learning Usine too! You know that guy Senso is too fast!
Since I'm conviced that the sequencer is highly powerful tool, be sure that I'll do that tuto, but please be patient for three or four weeks and learn on your side. I'm very busy those days with a new big machine and a full setup to perform for ALL my softs and audio configuration... plus a few gigs... I hope I'll not crash Hard Drives!

to me a live mode is very important, I am an Ableton user who wishes to switch, if there is no live mode I won't....

I thought using Usine for live performance was the whole point. I am a current Ableton live user who also would like to explore the possibilities of Usine.
