Is there a simple way to:

1) make a group of objects (faders or switches) identical in size

2) align a group of elements either vertically or horizontally?

...without manually editing each object's parameters (not a simple way)?

..either in the IB or right in the racks.

I've used the snapshots but that doesn't appear to maintain size information.

Thanks!

I have long wished that you could select multiple items, and edit all their parameters simultaneously.

The inspector would only show the parameters that all the items had in common, obviously. I remember this feature as far back as the ensoniq eps in the late 80s, kontakt has it now..... I seem to remember it from various IDE's as well.

Then you could select a bunch of items and give them the same height or vertical position or value range. Would speed up patching and layout tremendously. Of course you would also need a method of selecting multiple items from the graphic views, since it's impossible to select items from different patches simultaneously in the patching window...

so maybe someday..

I suggested such an improvement here
I think too that design and texts management could be more friendly ;)
