Hello!
I have an Acer Aspire P3 which has an i5 and like 4-6Gb ram with a SSD.
I can use this for Hollyhock, and do use it as a companion controller for multi-touch.
I am amazed by this tablet/computer...the only qualms regarding using tablets would be graphics processing as you always know you are going to be
running into integrated memory graphics. A lot of times, even though you have a good amount of memory, it doesn't mean it will use it all or you can actually specify how much.
I know that you are going to want the latest graphics that at least has DirectX 11 implementation...but that shouldn;t be hard nowadays.
Probably be a newer Intel HD Integrated, which my Samsung AIO7 has the last generation...is a bit slower but not too bad.
When HH1 came out we had some graphic problems with cards that did not have DirectX 11 compatibility, since HH does have a full graphic redraw for the zoom.
So the amazing thing that people don't always remember is that the touch-screen is generally a USB based HID device.
I run off of 3 computers. My studio custom built, a Samsung AIO7, and this Acer Aspire P3.
I run Gb ethernet wired between my main and the Samsung and use
Usb Over Ethernet.
This works perfectly as the Samsung has HDMI IN, I use it as a touch screen for both the Samsung and my Main computer...I then use the Aspire as a remote networked Usine.
The Aspire does not get hot at all! I am amazed by the design...I have never said that it was hot...and I cannot believe it. There is no huge or noisy fan in it either, more of a size vent exhaust that is extremely quiet, which I have never heard a laptop this quiet.
