just try to install 2 XP on my PC ( i've 2 hd partionned each one in 2 )
i first try some dualboot software but was a disaster...finally someone tell me that best way is just to install xp on each hd and windows will ask me at first boot which one i want to run...

what i want is a xp without internet, firewall and so to run Usine smoothly
and another normal one ...i know that best way would be to have 2 machine but no place and money for that now ...

someone have experiences on this subject...?

Yes it's a good solution.
Normally it should work as describe. I did it a longtime ago...

Hi Yannick,

I have used since a long time two XP on my previous main computer, and yes, it is a good solution to have a clean system and another one less sensitive.

Actually on my laptop, I have Vista as a garbage and test system (was bought with it) and XP as my working system (plus OS X and Linux on external HD...), all running without any problem.
