I can't seem to "scrub" through a "Sequenced Lines" plugin with a knob

See screenshot. I expect that when I turn the first knob, the cursor in the lines plugin will "scrub" left and right. I have set the knob's min/max to 0/16, and the "num of steps" on the Sequenced Lines to 16.

the synchro of the line step is on Button ?
