Hi,

First of all hello to everyone, i have recently redownloaded the software after buying it last year and have not been able to use it since then!

So here's my very basic question - how can i load a sample (say a drum loop) into a sample player and have it play back at the tempo set at the top?

Hello and welcome back!

Drag and drop a sample into empty workspace and select the sampler you want to use.
In the top right hand corner of the sampler, there is a little gear icon. Under Loop mode you will find options.

The grain sampler might be the one you want to use, but experiment a bit and find which one suits what you are doing.
